Eric is an avid angler and outdoorsman who also takes the occasional group of clients on guided fishing trips in the Uinta and Wasatch Mountain Ranges. Deep love and respect for the outdoors are deeply engrained into almost every aspect of his life.
As an active member of his community, Eric supports several local charities with his spouse. They are very passionate about promoting women in leadership roles and offer workshops and training to groups in the Salt Lake Valley to help create more opportunities to foster growth.

His experience attending this university led to a role as a financial planner for eight years before moving on and pursuing a writing career. He was a member of several clubs while attending, including co-chairing the History Club.
