After receiving his MA degree in Language and Culture Studies from Utrecht University, and after living in London for a while, Joris started out as a freelance translator English to Dutch in 2009. He has translated different kind of texts, although his preferences are literature, marketing and (scientific) medical texts. For example, Joris has translated and edited several novels, online commercial material for international computer providers and others, and a medical white paper for an international company.
